I had a clunky, but fine sand filled model that started leaking, and wanted a nice looking one that could be "out" without looking ugly.

If you like the looks, it is a safe buy.

I bought this particular dispenser because it is a solid block of acrylic instead of sheets of acrylic glued together.

Hollow all around and definitely not an "elegant block" shape.

I would definitely recommend this brand over Kate Spade in terms of function and quality

It is light and requires two hands to pull tape, defeating the purpose of having it.

Instead of the tape dispenser advertised, I was sent a sub-par, flimsy piece of acrylic that was nothing close to what I was supposed to receive

You need one hand to hold it in place while the other hands rips off a piece of tape which is not convenient when wrapping gifts

Construction of the dispenser is great, one solid piece (except for the wheel the tape sits on)
