Quality is ok on the slower laptop, but definitely lower than the source input (video tape)

if I wanted a return or warranty refund, I'd have to try using a different, "faster", laptop, and then a DVD player, and then download a file, from a link they sent me, run a program and return a zip file containing my computer's log file, all, in addition to, a recording of the blurry/slow video (which I cannot do, because I get an error message).
