This is the coolest thing I have ever seen.

I have 16 GB RAM, super fast SSD and fast processor and the stupid thing was making the video stutter

Bought cheap Roxio thing from local big box store.

Tons of products in the in-between prices, however, for capture devices for VCRs and things like that

Well, this thing keeps crashing during processing, and then there's no way to re-process the raw video, you literally have to rerecord from scratch.

Perhaps my favorite thing about it is that you can do this all on your computer without having to connect the VCR to a TV (effectively cutting out the middleman)
