It probably doesn't matter but it didn't seem right to stress the motor and screen unnecessarily.

Hopefully the motor won't become damaged over time due to the slight tweak

The size is impressive, and the picture looks good on it, but I hate that it has a noisy motor that's almost embarrassing to use when company is over

The motor on the unit I received was also making a thuding sound as the screen moved up and down, however, after about a week of use the thud'ing stopped and everything works as advertised
