-
They'll make a great guitar sound downright glamorous.
-
I put these on an ash back spruce top guitar and they sound great
-
The AJ (also from Amazon) sounded pretty good for a cheap guitar except amplified their piezo sounded rather tinny
-
Many guitarists probably think its crazy to use heavy strings on a 12, but if you're smart, the guitar can still play well and sound much better.
-
These strings have a nice, bright tone and will make any acoustic guitar sound great
-
and now our son enjoys playing the guitar again.
-
They last a very long time before going dead and make a cheap guitar sound good.
-
There are many fine guitar strings, of course, but I think that these are the gold standard to measure others by.
-
My guitar sounds great.
-
After that I got a Taylor 110 one of the most beautiful sounding guitars ever, and I've been trying lots of different companies for my strings from ernie ball, to fender
-
These are my favorite guitar strings
-
and now it sounds like a much more expensive guitar
-
I have a Taylor 514 ce acoustic guitar and Elixir Strings are what this very nice guitar came with from Taylor when new.
-
Great acoustic guitar strings!
-
Best guitar strings you can buy
-
They are great guitar strings
-
These sound good and require changing about the same amount of time I need to give my guitar a really good cleaning.
-
These are my favorite acoustic guitar strings
-
I don't think my guitars have ever sounded this good
-
Even my grubby dirty handed guitar playing band mates cant break through the coating
-
This is preferable for me since my guitars tend to err on the lower side of the sound spectrum.
-
My guitar now sounds like a beautiful princess!
-
i use them all my guitars and the acoustic strings are great.
-
ok, so the first time I used Elixir Nanoweb strings I ended up taking them off after only 45 minutes of playing or so----they sounded extremely bright to me and my beautiful guitar now sounded like a shallow, metallic box
-
The best guitar strings you can get
-
These are great guitar strings, no question in my mind.
-
These worked great for our son's acoustic guitar
-
It simply made the sound so amazing it sounds like an expensive guitar
-
The sound is excellent on my guitar (nice deep sound).
-
it seems to dampen the rich harmonic overtones you would normally associate with a vibrating guitar string, much the way dirt and rust do on older strings.
-
Elixirs are some of the best guitar strings out there.
-
After breaking my old guitar, I took off those strings from old guitar and I still keep them
-
So i guess that if you have a larger spruce or maple top guitar, these strings may be worth trying
-
I purchased the Elixir strings a couple of years ago to compliment the Martin guitars I bought for my husband and step daughter for Christmas
-
Best guitar strings out there for the price
-
Also, I don't like how it eliminates the squeeky noise when sliding chords and whatnot--makes me feel like I have a silent guitar
-
Great guitar strings at a reasonable price.
-
He does not play the acoustic often as the electrics are his preferred guitar.
-
I have a cheap acoustic guitar, I bought these to help me learn how to change strings and tune a guitar
-
Much easier to play with these strings than the medium strings my guitar came with (I'm a beginner)
-
I have an Ovation Deluxe guitar and
-
I've used their lights and their mediums on other guitars and liked the way they sounded and lasted
-
I always thought my guitar sounded good, I mean it's a Martin!
-
oh yeah, guitar strings, far less thrilling.
-
My favorite acoustic guitar strings
-
The only reason I saw to change them was when they became overly dirty or broke, usually every few months of regular playing.+Very bright sound, which cuts through well playing live with a full band, and livens up the sound of cheaper guitars.
-
My favorite guitar strings
-
This is the best acoustic guitar string I have used
-
It made a very good sounding guitar into a great sounding one
-
My guitar sounds like a sweet, sweet Tom Petty tune now
-
These are the best sounding, most comfortable guitar strings I've ever used in over fifty years of guitar playing
-
nice sound, totally improves mid range guitar.
-
Elixir is my husbands favorite guitar
-
Decent guitar strings.
-
Great guitar strings!
-
I have an Alvarez acoustic-electric guitar and these strings sound bright and clean, and they last at least a month even with almost daily use.
-
They tend to dominate the sound of the guitar, which is good for cheaper guitars without quality woods or construction, but not so good for a guitar that already resonates well.
-
I've always thought that my guitar sounded nice enough for no better than I am at playing it
-
These are great-sounding guitar strings.
-
Amazing guitar strings
-
My husband (whom was already an avid guitar player) had been talking about teaching his daughter to play for as long as I can remember
-
My Yamaha sounded terrible with the old strings on and thinking, the guitar was hopeless
-
I don't have a very nice guitar, but these strings make it sound a lot better than typical $7 ones
-
If you're a casual player (or put them on one of your less-frequently played guitars), and you clean your strings/neck after every session, it's not unusual to get a year out of these things
-
The most popular acoustic guitar string
-
Whether your guitar was $300 or $3000, I haven't heard a guitar who's tone was not improved by putting on a set of these strings
-
My guitar sounds way nicer with these strings
-
They last a very long time before going dead and make a cheap guitar sound good.
-
but when i put on any other brand the guitar took on whole different tones and the wood vibrated in my chest
-
Awesome guitar strings, highly recommend
-
Some of our favorite guitar strings.
-
Best acoustic guitar strings
-
the strings I replaced were some real killers and these make it possible to enjoy my guitar again
-
bought a set for my acoustic (yamaha, fg series from ~1980) and they sound great. for a cheap guitar the yamaha's have a great sound and these strings really pronounce it.
-
Cheap guitar+awesome strings= expensive sounding guitarAfter stringing and tuning, the first strum taken was noticeably improved
-
And it makes my guitar sound like a toy
-
I tried these on a cheap laminate guitar that i keep tuned down 1/2 step.
-
I now replace my guitar strings every year and each time my Gibson guitar sounds like new
-
I can only imagine what they would do for a nice, solid wood guitar
-
These are quality guitar strings that last well beyond the life of other brands
-
The guitar was properly tuned but the sound is so bad that I wanted to smash the guitar in frustration and buy a new one
-
What can i say.. my most favorite guitar strings
-
NICE QUALITY GUITAR STRINGS!
-
It took me a while to figure out that the guitar sounded like nanoweb strings
-
Great Guitar Strings
-
Ive started with elixir from my first guitar which was a takamini jasmine, a very cheap guitar but bulletproof, the strings definitely worked very good and lasted a long time.
-
As a person who plays very regularly (often as much as 2 -3 hours per day or more when I'm gigging), I do change my strings often and the sound of a fresh, traditional guitar string is just much more appealing.
-
I had to be dragged into trying these by the guy at a guitar store, I was always a dyed in the wool Phosphor Bronze acolyte, never looked back though, probably the best acoustic guitar strings I have used especially from a feel and durability standpoint
-
They also make my guitar look much nicer and shinier
-
The guitar is great and I highly recommend
-
My guitar is so happy now
-
Feels like I have a brand new guitar and the tone is magnificent
-
If you like CLEAN sounding guitar strings you may not like these, especially the base strings
-
The guitar plays like butter with the DR
-
Best guitar strings.
-
The sound you get with the Nanoweb strings are amazing and they enhance the results from an already great guitar.
-
This is the perfect guitar string in my opinion, and the only ones I'll use.
-
Excellent guitar strings....
-
On the 12 string they were acceptable, but that guitar had an abundance of highs to begin with
-
You can get a cheap guitar, but don't cheap out on the strings
-
You can get a cheap guitar, but don't cheap out on the strings
-
Remember - if you're using these strings you should tune down your machine to C# to compensate for the increased tension being created and prevent damaging the guitar.
-
I can't afford them for all of my forty-odd other guitars.
-
The fifth string broke untunig the guitar!
-
I suspect that IF these were the only guitar strings available, given time I would eventually get used to the feel, however I simply found myself thinking more about how annoying they were than I did about my playing...not a good thing for a performing musician
-
There are many fine guitar strings, of course, but I think that these are the gold standard to measure others by.
-
and so can't really rate them for long term use, but I know that my older, cheaper guitar strings started showing some sort of deterioration.
-
Enjoying the new guitar.
-
my guitar sounds so clear and it wasn't an expensive one
-
These are my favorite guitar strings
-
Simply amazing! This string made my guitar sound so good
-
I'm definitely not a great guitar player, but I am smart enough to know that I like these strings
-
The best guitar strings Hands down!!!
-
However My guitar sounds horrible now
-
Don't put cheap strings on a fine guitar
-
Great price on top quality guitar strings
-

-
i dont know about expensive guitars but this thing does marvels with semi-cheap acoustics...
-
These are great guitar strings and are all that guitarists say they are
-
But before I pulled the trigger to buy a more expensive higher quality guitar I decided to replace the strings to see if the sound gets better
-
Cheap guitar+awesome strings= expensive sounding guitarAfter stringing and tuning, the first strum taken was noticeably improved
-
I can do a couple gigs with them, but broke the G in middle of solo in front of 300 people
-
They were hard to play; the G and B strings were killer on my fingers
-
Then the G string broke after less then 2 weeks
-
poor tone, G and B string lots of extra noise when plugged into a
-
e.g. Low E and A strings and the vulnerable G string
-
The G-string broke while trying to tune down a step
-
The complaints regarding the g-string and other strings breaking are valid
-
By this promotion, are "normal" strings suppose to last only about a week or less? Also, the last set I put on had a "dead" G string
-
and I can not play for at least a day until my fingers can recover (I've been playing for five
-
I know they can, but, holy S**T !!
-
Buy a couple sets...you WON"T be disappointed :)
-
I recently played these strings on both a Martin, as well as on a Seagull to provide a fair and objective comparison, To my ear, right out of the box they sound very artificial
-
I personally love the coatings as they help me to slide around on the strings easier.
-
I've been using a set on one of my guitars for at least 4 months now, and after playing at least 4 times a week for at least an hour or two, the strings sound nearly as good as the day I first strung them
-
For a couple of days, they will lose their tuning quickly as you play, but then they are extremely reliable and stay in tune
-
Great as always!
-
I used to use Martins but they kept breaking as I use a multitude of different tunings
-
I have had them for about a month now and they sound just as good as when I first bought them
-
Perfect A+A+A+A
-
I've been using a set on one of my guitars for at least 4 months now, and after playing at least 4 times a week for at least an hour or two, the strings sound nearly as good as the day I first strung them
-
I released the tension on all the strings as fast as I could and left it
