    Elixir Strings Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings w NANOWEB Coating, Light (.012-.053)

    • Usual acoustic strings hurt my soft hands after a few, but I think I could play these all day like I do my electric
    • Although if my hands are sweaty or it's particularly humid, my fingers sometimes slip off the string when pressing a fret, but other than that these strings feel like butter
    • Good strings, the elixirs always give me a couple months of smoother action with my fret hand.
    • I have weak hands so needed to balance light gauge with rich tone.
    • I feel uncomfortable on both left (fretting) and right hand (I pluck strings with fingertips only, no nails)- Elixir ones have a bit less squeeze.- Elixir ones have more tension, I had to tune a half step down to have the same feeling (mostly in case of barre chords) as with EXP26- Elixir costs more than
    • Overall great strings, but not the best strings for my style of play; they, just a tad, limits my desired playing access, but maybe I just need stronger hands lol

    • I think the tone is very bright (even with the coating) as good as or superior to any other phosper bronze string, and much more long-lasting
