I love elixir strings period and now they came for a cheap price and also quickly too
My best friend, Brian Price ([...]) referred me to these strings.
I wish they were slightly cheaper, but compared to other strings, the price isn't bad, and they easily last twice as long, so you're still saving a lot of money in the long run.
Low e string kinda dull, overall, not quite as crisp as bronze 80/20
These are really great strings for a competitive price.
Strings are very easy to use, pleasant on the fingers, and very nice action
Strings are extremely easy on the fingers and are easy to tune.
Compared to the light Elixir strings, the g and b strings are really hard to press down with on barre chords past the sixth fret and often times get muted on these HD Light Elixir strings
Great Strings, last forever unless you play a lot every day
These strings have powerfull bass and great highs, very balanced, great sounding strings!Much better than the 10 year old strings I bought from "Miss Zixa" on amazon.
I've been playing guitar for over 16 years now and these are some of the best strings I have ever played
The guitar, while stiffer playing, sounds like a much more expensive guitar
Great strings easy playing, nice feeling, great feel Awesome sound on my Martin!!
Overall great strings, but not the best strings for my style of play; they, just a tad, limits my desired playing access, but maybe I just need stronger hands lol
These are good strings I've played with a bunch over the past 15years on the same guitar these seem to last longer keep their great sound an tone great strings to play on you would be disappointed in cheaper
Elixir's are a little more expensive than other non-coated strings.
To my ears, the Elixir Nanoweb blows all others out of the water, in terms of playability, durability, and tone
elixirs sound great and last longer than any other string I've tried.
I prefer the D'addario for the price and tension and Elixir for the sound and feel.
I feel uncomfortable on both left (fretting) and right hand (I pluck strings with fingertips only, no nails)- Elixir ones have a bit less squeeze.- Elixir ones have more tension, I had to tune a half step down to have the same feeling (mostly in case of barre chords) as with EXP26- Elixir costs more than
Usual acoustic strings hurt my soft hands after a few, but I think I could play these all day like I do my electric
I have weak hands so needed to balance light gauge with rich tone.
Good strings, the elixirs always give me a couple months of smoother action with my fret hand.
Overall great strings, but not the best strings for my style of play; they, just a tad, limits my desired playing access, but maybe I just need stronger hands lol
I've been blown away by the responsiveness, as well as how well they hold up.
They are a bit expensive but with guitar strings it makes all the difference
They really bring out the treble and sound a bit mushy/tinny to my ear.
The guitar I have is particularly deep and bassy in tone, and these strings brighten it up quite a bit
I originally used and loved the polyweb strings, but my newer guitar really wanted something a bit brighter and livelier
Great strings, would love to see some improvement in the lasting of the strings, they play well for the first couple weeks but after that they loose a bit of their sound quality.
The coating reduces string squeak and keeps the sound fresh for weeks (or months, depending how much or little I play).
...I'm glad I tried them, as they do have more of a warm, bluesy sound to my ears...the only reason I didn't put 5 stars is that there's the usual string squeak I find with all strings I've tried, other than the Polywebs...definitely worth a try...!
Excellent product recommended A++
I hate string squeak and the NANOWEB coating is very helpful in reducing squeak on the wound strings.
I've been blown away by the responsiveness, as well as how well they hold up.
Within these ten years I've only had 2 strings break on me, and I sometimes work 6 days a week for many for at a time
but this will be the third time I had one of their strings break on me.
I put these strings on and played the quitar for a total of maybe 30 minutes over a weeks time, and after dropping the G string to an F# then back to G standard tuning, the string broke.
Then to top it off, after a total of 4 hours play on the new strings the D string broke
I've been blown away by the responsiveness, as well as how well they hold up.

Strum confidently with the same premium acoustic guitar strings that experienced players worldwide trust to keep their incredible tone longer than any other string available
Unlike other string brands, Elixir Strings coats the whole string
This protects not only the outer string surface but also the gaps between the windings where common tone-deadening gunk typically builds up in other brands’ coated and uncoated guitar strings
Anti-Rust Plating on plain steel strings ensures longer tone life for the entire set
Who wouldn’t love more quality playing time between the hassle and cost of string changes? Engineered to endure, these acoustic strings constructed with phosphor bronze wrap wire boast a dynamic balance of rich, full-bodied tone and sparkling high-end clarity
Compared to our original POLYWEB Coating, the ultra-thin NANOWEB Coating allows a more traditionally textured, “uncoated” feel
For a slicker, gentler feel, try a set of strings with our original POLYWEB Coating
The 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings with POLYWEB Coating, for example, might be a good fit if you want a more robust and rounded tone
On the other end of the tone spectrum, our 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings with NANOWEB Coating deliver a brighter, crisper tone alongside the same traditional feel as these phosphor bronze strings
Of course, the kind of string you play is all a matter of personal preference
Not sure what tone or feel is right for you? Try them out for yourself, and find your new favorite string from Elixir Strings
