These are long-lasting guitar strings of good quality, instructor-approved for students and more advanced guitarists, alike.
As advertised they have a bit more volume, crispness, and bite than phosphor bronze (such as Martin marquis) while retaining a very balanced, pleasant musical quality.
While the process itself was a learning experience, the strings seem to be of pretty good quality and despite my lack of knowledge changing them out, I think the end result has a nice, pleasing sound that I am happy with.
These are great strings for the fingerpicker, They have a bit less of the phosphor sizzle but have great full rich quality, I went right into the studio working on complex stuff and they were amazing

It's fairly futile trying to describe tone in words, but on my pre-war Gibson these Aluminum Bronze strings provide outstanding balance, great charity, abundant overtones, and a deep but decidedly clear bass
This the best sounding string for both high, mid, and low end sound well balanced
Well balanced tone in both the bass and treble and a nice punch that cuts through very slightly
They have a really nice balanced tone with excellent lows
Put these on a Maton, too strident and honky at first, but with a couple of days settling in, they started sounding great - warm as Martin P/B, but still bright
I also feel that these strings are very reasonably priced.
Ernie Ball is a brand I have consistently found provides ease of playing and great sound for a reasonable price, and this set meets that standard.
Other strings are either too muddy with no top end or too bright with no mid or bottom
On my small body Alvarez they have an aggressive tone with balanced highs, crisp mids, and a present low end unlike the other sets of strings I've experimented with
At first, the high-end may be to sparkly for some tastes or some guitars, but they smooth out after some playing, and then just last and last with little apparent loss of tone or intonation
Broke a G on the 3rd day, replaced with spare, Broke a D on day 6 on stage playing.
Strings sound great but the D and G string break on me after about two weeks
This instrument has great bass response, sustain, and note articulation, but sometimes leaves me wanting a bit more treble and projection
Deluxe square shoulder is renowned for it's darker tonality and wooly bass
The medium-light gauge strings are only a little bit larger than the light variety at 12-54, but the sound is noticeably louder and the bass is stronger

High tones are rich and vibrant, mids are pleasant and balanced, and the bass mixes well with the higher tones
Great tone, might be my favorite set of strings so far.
I also recommend Ernie Ball Everlast strings (Ernie Ball Everlast Medium Coated 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Set, .013 - .056)
Perhaps I'd received a defective set
In my experience, this set will work great for guitars that sound too warm or muddy (like my Ibanez acoustic-electric, which has mahagony sides and engelmann spruce top)
I put a set on my Godin Multiac Steel and immediately the hybrid acoustic sounded almost like a full blown dreadnaught
Not a thing wrong with them, but not as unique as one might hope.

On a guitar with a spruce and EIR, these things really shine and bring out great tones with lots of overtones.
Best thing I ever could have done was to buy these strings!
Some people love these things, but it's important to understand that the blurbs on the packaging are comparing them to phosphor bronze, not to 80/20, and that they're much more similar in tone to the former, which isn't necessarily clear at a glance (or that that's what they mean by "traditional bronze")..
