I put a set on my Godin Multiac Steel and immediately the hybrid acoustic sounded almost like a full blown dreadnaught

Great tone, might be my favorite set of strings so far.

I also recommend Ernie Ball Everlast strings (Ernie Ball Everlast Medium Coated 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Set, .013 - .056)

In my experience, this set will work great for guitars that sound too warm or muddy (like my Ibanez acoustic-electric, which has mahagony sides and engelmann spruce top)

I think they sound much better in the low end and high end -- beyond the effect of a nice new set of strings.

Perhaps I'd received a defective set
