It has excellent sound quality, but the motor noise makes me worried

Like the ERC-2 the newer version is quality built and nice to look at.

Use good quality interconnects between the preamp and the monoblocks---I use XLR terminated cables from Clearday Cables (speaker cables are Double Shotgun from the same company).#4

I was a bit hesitant to buy because I understand that Chinese parts have their reputation for poor quality a fact that might have influenced the manufacturer to offer an unprecedented 5 year warranty - similar to Mark Levinson back in the day
