OLD REVIEW OF EMPIRE TOTAL WAR FOLLOWSThe release of ETW was awful

I was on the fence from all the bad review but there wrong

I feel like I have been cheated by Sega and tricked into buying this game by glowing reviews that all lie

so I figured I'd come here and write a helpful review for anyone on the fence.

Empire is for the most part unmoddable and instead of appreciating a good game they take it out on CA by posting ridiculous reviews

People should just give this game a try rather than being put off by the negative reviews.

There are WAY too many negative reviews to give this five stars.

Good luck getting a hold of anyone at steam about the issue, guess the best I can do is leave a bad review

I have a growing suspicion that Sega paid some of the big gaming web sites for positive reviews

so i give it a crappy review if u wanna kill

more closely i realized the people writing the negative reviews created most of their own problems and it was not the game's problem at all.

There are problems with some systems and a lot of people are down voting the good reviews this game has received and submitting their own 1 star reviews because the game won't work with their system

With that said, I finally decided to purchase Empire Total War, and subsequently Napoleon Total War, to see if the negative reviews were correct or not

But my guess is they didn't need to because the review would not have been as good

I did see that there was a good number of negative reviews but my son really wanted it
