Like the software for Epson's FastFoto scanner, the software for the DS-320 is overly complex and clunky to use.
-
As big a company as Epson is, surely they can hire some software engineers who can create leaner and more user-friendly software for their scanners
-
The software is much better than the Brother, which installed an entire suite of products that I don't use.
-
Unless you just really love the Fujitsu software, there is no reason to get the S1300i over this DS-320
-
The Snapscan software is better
-
The single pass duplex scanning makes it very quick to scan a stack of double sided forms and the software does a good job of saving a single PDF for both pages (software configurable). The software was easy to install on my Apple Mac Book, and the rest of the setup was easy.
-
I do believe that given the jams double feeding and cumbersome software there is room for improvement with this product
-
My only real major complaint with this product, and the sole reason I docked it a star, is the scanning software is overly complex and not at all user friendly.

Great software
