Epson Expression ET-2750 EcoTank Wireless Color All-in-One Supertank Printer Scanner Copier

    • If I could, I would rate this printer 4.5 stars (I virtually always find the 5 point scale inadequate to rate things accurately).
    • The break-even point is when the cost of the ink for the HP reaches $300, if it's before the Epson runs out at around 11,200 typical pages
    • Here are some break-even points for different levels of use for $80 vs $330, in case it drops again:For 100 typical mixed black/white and color pages a month: 4 years, 2 months.150 pages a month: 2 years and 9 months.200 or 300: 2 years and 1 month.400: 18 months.500: 14 months
    • Both Canon laser printers fell at approximately $1,550 in our evaluation (the 731 was slightly lower due to its larger capacity cartridges and slightly more favorable price point per page). For inkjets, I evaluated an HP 8710 and a Canon Pixma G4200 as having comparable quality copying output, but the time it took to generate a copy was unacceptable
    • I concede that point
    • The size of the printer (smaller that H/P) is nice however I would rather have better capacity for paper handling and faster copy speed7
    • 90's level non-printing piece-o-junk just to save money on ink
    • I sort of miss not having an automatic document
    • n’t have complicated OCR work to do anymore and that’s why I stopped using ABBYY in the first place
    • n’t have to scratch with your fingernail to grasp it
