Epson Expression Photo XP-960 Wireless Color Photo Printer with Scanner and Copier, Amazon Dash Replenishment Enabled

    • The ink is no longer available and I feel like Epson just stole $200 from me
    • Epson's lost me as a customer.
    • Will never buy an epson again. too picky on their overpriced ink.
    • on a defective Epson printer.
    • The printer works quite well, except for two extremely annoying features: 1) Epson has installed a basically fraudulent feature which decides when you need to replace ink cartridges and will not print when it decides this, even if the printer has been printing perfectly satisfactory dark copies to that point and is likely to continue to do so (and it will not print a black & white document even if the magenta ink cartridge is the only one "requiring replacement") -- planned obsolescence at its worst -- and 2) the scanning feature often forgets the computer it has been set to deliver its output to, even if it has been set up to recognize it and is sitting right next to it, requiring that the set-up procedure be repeated each time that this happens.
    • I use to love Epson but this machine is a piece of garbage....just buggy garbage.
    • First, setup is as simple and other Epson units - the enclosed driver disk worked on my Mac and my wife's Windows laptop
    • Epson has once again exceeded my expectations.
    • For graphics artists, this Epson is an excellent all-in-one...it scans, prints full color, print CDs, print on many paper sizes, and comes with many near-pro-level software tools.
    • When she runs out of ink I'm going to buy a cheap Epson for her (she doesn't need photo capability) and throw the HP away.
    • I am not any kind of computer expert, and new the Epson is probably just about as good or better than my old Canon, which I really liked.
    • I've felt pushed around by a giant since the moment when they had me waste brand new ink cartridges just so they could declare that the printer was defective, offer a paltry discount on a new printer that doesn't come close to bringing the price down to refurb prices from the same store, then refuse to budge on the discount despite 10 years of faithful Epson purchases (always continuing to use Epson products despite their failures every 1-2 years).I'm done.
    • Thank you Epson!
    • Being a refurb, Epson doesn't do refunds and only offers replacement.
    • For those needing a printer I would recommend the Epson XP 960 highly without reservation.
    • I have had this same problem with the Epson Artisan 835.This is the last Epson that I will purchase.
    • Overall, the compact size, easy setup, reasonable price, excellent print quality (said to be long lasting due to Claria inks - provided the right Epson paper is used), quality scanning and copying makes this an excellent evolutionary product in the Epson line
    • I've only had it for a few days, but I printed some photos on beautiful Epson Hot Press Natural Paper and they look great, especially for such an inexpensive printer
    • Using Disc Cover 3 and every time I insert the removable CD tray, the printer gyrates, hums, buzzes and then sounds like it strips a gear and show an Error Code that is not found on the Epson Support Page that says to turn the printer off and start again
    • Great Epson product!
    • Somehow I doubt they would force a large corporate buyer to pay return shipping on defective Epson products, but I know I'm small compared to Epson or a big corporation, so they can push me around.
    • but, Epson is a brand I come to know and trust for my printing needs, so that doesn't bother me especially if I am getting a featured packed printer.
