The V600 is every bit as good as my old 3200 and better
-
A bit pricey $75, but it is cheaper than a straight jacket that I would need after 300+ pages of 36 negatives a page
-
I can scan directly from negative films, from positive films AND from Photos as well!I got it also for a good price (a bit more than 200 bucks at Amazon)
-
That's just a bit too slow, messy, and cumbersome for me, though I did find that a wet mount kit was available for the scanner (though not from Epson).
-
It never told me to go to Epson site to download the correct 64 bit drivers
-
Yes it's a bit slow but worth it
-
A bit slow at hi-rez but does a great job with prints, 35mm negatives, and 110 negatives---use medium-format template for 110's to define the usable space on the bed & lay the strips on the glass & draw marquis around each photo in normal preview (professional) mode
-
Maybe a bit slow on scanning, and maybe not totally automated, but it's good for my needs!
-
It's a bit slower than other scanners.
-
A bit slower than I
-
I was a bit skeptical about a basically 2-in-1 scanner
-
Like other reviews have stated, it's a bit slow
-
A bit slower than expected/hoped for, but still a good value.
-
I struggled a bit to get the software loaded; however, Epson's technical customer service was very helpful
-
Scans a bit slow but does it well.
-
The one thing I did notice is that the Epson Scan auto crop feature frequently misses a bit, either cropping off a part of the image or leaving some of the white background left in; this is easy enough to correct manually, but does waste some time.
-
A bit clumsy, but it works.

Scan your B&W images in RGB as well
-
I was scanning a series of B&W negatives using the Digital ICE.
-
I can also scan in B&W negatives (old 620 or 120 roll film).
-
This product has now successfully digitized @6,000 slides, and has digitized @90 color as well as B&W hard copy photographs.
-
Great for color positive film slides, 35mm B&W negative, and medium format negative film
-
More specifically, I have primarily been scanning 35mm B&W negatives and 120 medium format B&W negatives.
-
I've played with this for only a few weeks, but it really does an excellent job with color and b/w 35mm negatives as well as printed photos (even shiny prints).
-
I was happy t it works well with windows
