There are many other features that I have not yet tried since my main purpose is to archive a huge collection of printed photos for which this does an efficient job, as long as I only use the fixed 300dpi photo-scanning or I choose the less efficient route of pushing more buttons for each scan to get the 600dpi.

The Digital Ice is not worth anything on many old b/w negatives due to their silver content, nor does it do well on color negs at lower resolutions (makes the final images too soft, losing their finer details), BUT it does an amazing job cleaning up color negs on higher resolutions of 1400 dpi or higher.

Does a great job, image quality is great and it's pretty simple to use

This scanner does a terrific job and I like it very much!

It also does an excellent job when it comes to color recovery.

He also has Adobe to clean up the photos if they need it, although the scanner has some capability to do that as well, but it is fast and does a nice job.

6x4.5cm and 6x7cm B+W, color neg and transparencies the V600 has been doing a great job and my only wish would be if it did 4x5 negs.

I was scanning a series of B&W negatives using the Digital ICE.

I can also scan in B&W negatives (old 620 or 120 roll film).

This product has now successfully digitized @6,000 slides, and has digitized @90 color as well as B&W hard copy photographs.
