    Epson Perfection V600 Color Photo, Image, Film, Negative & Document Scanner - Corded

    • Pros -- Fairly fast, even when scanning at a high DPI- Great image quality- LED light source won't fade old photos/slides- Nice 35mm slide holderCons -- Scanning 110 slides (not film strips, but in those 1in x 1in plastic holders, just like a small 35mm) is a pain, as it scanning Kodachrome Transparencies
    • I purchased this scanner with the hopes that it would provide adequate digital files of 35mm negative and slides, but unfortunately, it's not the right tool for high resolution reproduction from these media
    • Have yet to try any of the great batch of 35mm negative film strips.

    • The holders come for 35mm slides and negatives as well as for other sizes, 127 and the larger b&w and color negatives from the 1950's
    • I have scanned mounted 35 mm slides, 35 mm black and white and color film negatives
    • Great for color positive film slides, 35mm B&W negative, and medium format negative film
    • If all you do is positive 35mm slides you might look at other, more productive solutions
    • It scans 35mm and medium format color slides/transparencies and negatives, and prints up to 8" x 10"
    • I bought it because it can scan medium format negatives (2 1/4) as well as 35mm.
