Unbelievable - way better quality pics than I expected, with exceptional reasonable price from Amazon.

Adobe Photoshop Elements is included in the price - free, which I have used and it is a great imaging program.

All in all I think compared to what digital equipment costs nowadays, or what a decent lens will cost you, the price for the V600 is fair enough

I'm keeping this scanner because it is fantastic for prints and the only option for scanning old negatives or slides at a reasonable price, but I hope that Epson or one of their competitors can find a better solution for loading and scanning film with these flat bed scanners.

Couldn't have asked for better, and the price is right

The V600 is a bit plastically, and may not standup over the years like the Nikon has, but it delivers excellent scans for a very reasonable price, and I would buy it again.

But if price were not an object, then I would have gone for the V850.Over the winter I have scanned film from 4x5 to 110, including 620, 126, 127, 35 slide and negative, 120/220 film (Various formats), and 4x5 positive and negative film

Well worth the price to help preserve thousands of memories.

It's a great price for what you get plus when I'm done with the family pix, I'll still have an excellent scanner for my next project.

If Professional Mode had the automatic feature to determine how many photos are on the bed then I would ask Amazon for a rating above 5.The only negative feature is that the photo editing software is very dated but with Adobe's new Creative pricing model, you can pick up PhotoShop for less than $10 a month for only as long as you need

The quality is there, and the price is very reasonable, but, if you're in the business, it is time to pony up at least the minimum $600 for a more productive machine

This is really a nice scanner and reasonably priced

I was so hesitant, didn't have faith that any reasonably priced scanner would scan my 70+ year old photos and produce a high quality result.
