Epson products have always been good to me - good quality and long lasting products

Terrible product

The technology has improved the product since my last purchase several years ago.

This product completely exceed expectations.

Very good product.

One caveat: the Abbyy FineReader (OCR software) that can be installed with the scanner software can crash some Microsoft Office products, such as Outlook.

This is a great product but it is difficult to get copies of 110 film.

Why a company like Epson, the creator and manufacturer of such great scanning products, would not include capabilities for 110 filmfor a product that is designed to transfer negatives (no less), is absolutely incomprehensible.

I am a Photoshop Album(now a defunct product) user and was able to easily convert my Album pictures dB to Elements 11 organizer format.

I've used some of the other commercially available software products and they're buggy and slow, not to mention expensive.

It's easy to use, a vast improvement over insanely complex techno products with way to many options and pointless possibilities.

I ordered my Epson Perfection scanner with trepidation because I am a 63 year old woman and using a Linux system (Ubuntu) and the Epson website specifically states that it just supports Windows and Apple products

Epson customer support gives you two choices: contact them if it's under warranty or take it to a service center (so they can tell me it will cost $250 to fix a $200 scanner, no doubt).I will not be buying from Epson again and cannot recommend their products to others

Well HP, I don't think some of these institutions can really afford to be purchasing new scanners every few years just because you will no longer support your products

The Epson Scan software is much better then any native OS aps or Adobe products

Awesome product...super easy to set up and install...it even scans multiple photos separately...does all that it claims...scanning is a tedious activity...this scanner does an excellent job and allows you to edit your scans...worth it!!!

First I went to the Epson website & got linkjacked into buying a ripoff product, DriverTuner, which I did not want & which did not find the Epsom Scan driver, and which I'm currently still fighting with the manufacturer to accept my cancellation

It a very good product, but the only reason I am giving only 3 stars is because of a small but important issue: the frame that is used to secure the negatives in the holder for the scanning is bent a little, and covers part of the negative, resulting in scanned photos that have a black band in the border.
