    Epson SureColor P800 17" Inkjet Color Printer

    • Called Epson to check the serial number to be sure this printer was authorized for sale in the United States and covered by Epson's warranty because I was burned by this on a prior order with another seller
    • After working with Epson it was determined it has a bad print head, also this was not suppose to be sold in the US and therefore the warranty is invalid.
    • Thus, no warranty and this unit would not qualify for the rebate
    • After contacting Epson P800 support and dealing with several people I was finally informed that the unit had a hardware issue but the serial number on my printer was not suppose to be sold in the US so Epson would not honor the warranty.
    • Called Epson when it arrived and was told the warranty on this machine had expired and was not eligible for their 1 year service warranty
    • I print mostly for my own use, as well as from time to time for some non-profits that I do volunteer work for, so I am a non-professional user.
