Fuji had good software but needed to be heavily babied in order to prevent it from jamming with more than two pages scanned at a time.
-
I'm happy to report that the automatic size detection feature of the software works well, correctly switching between legal and letter-sized pages; however, watch the output tray, sometimes it can cause pages to curl and fall of when you do
-
The software is easy to use, save various configurations to quickly select BW Single Sided, Color Single Sided, Color Double Sided, receipts, business cards, etc
-
The software is great
-
The double sided scanning of both B/W and Color is very fast and with a wide range of adjustable software settings, you can get very clear and clean scans
-
These software is pretty good (good enough, but nothing spectacular).
-
It was a good buy because I have thousands of photos to scan, but the software needs great improvement.
-
The software installed fine off the internet, the device was recognized when I plugged it into the computer, but every time I went into the scanner software, document capture pro, it said the device was busy or could not be connected which prevented you from scanning
-
Although I am tempted to knock a star off the review due to the slightly geeky and non intuitive Epson scanning software I have to say that the software really is able to do everything I need, albeit with a learning curve
-
I wanted something fast and that had flexible software that would support my workflow process.
-
Small footprint, fast scanning, easy to set up, good software package
-
Scan Smart is the software most will use for everyday tasks, but falls short when trying to do automated scanning tasks, and that’s where you need Document Capture Pro.
-
Software stumbles somewhat
-
If the page has an image only then the software will sometimes zero in on angles in the image and twist the image way out of alignment
-
The scanner is great, the software is inadequate at best.
-
I have Adobe Acrobat Pro CC, so i don't need the included software, but don't worry if you don't have that Adobe's nice but annoyingly expensive software, the unit comes with a PDF and OCR software, and it does a great job
-
:-(Recently the software was updated and the button on the scanner no longer works to activate the scan.
-
This scanner, paired with good software makes it so it’s not a pain
-

-
I loath the Epson Scan software, which is badly designed, hard to understand, clunky to navigate, and it locks up and crashes all the time
-
Like I need to be told that 24x7, and I have no better use for this screen real estate?Aside from the bad software
-
but I suspect more likely the software.
-
It's great software and very easy to use
-
The software is pretty good
-
The document is 100% readable and OCR'dThe data from that high-quality scan can be easily extracted by almost any software available to a bookkeeper
-
Great software included and I hope it works as well
-
Very good and helpful software included - including software for scanning to pdf files - even multiple scans to the same pdf file
-
Set up was quick and easy and the software that came with it is great
-
After another hour with tech support, they concluded that they couldn't fix their software's mysterious problem either and sent me on my way with a "Sorry we couldn't help, guess you're just out of luck."A few weeks later, the scanner began scanning images off center, so that a portion of the bottom and right margins weren't being included in the scan, while a big, empty black border was appearing on the top and left margins
-
Perhaps the worst mac installation software I have ever used.
