    Epson Workforce ES-500W II Wireless Color Duplex Desktop Document Scanner for PC and Mac, with Auto Document Feeder (ADF) and Scan from Smartphone or Tablet

    • I called tech support and spent an hour or so with them before hanging up.
    • After another hour with tech support, they concluded that they couldn't fix their software's mysterious problem either and sent me on my way with a "Sorry we couldn't help, guess you're just out of luck."A few weeks later, the scanner began scanning images off center, so that a portion of the bottom and right margins weren't being included in the scan, while a big, empty black border was appearing on the top and left margins
    • Then try and get tech support or customer service, forget it!
    • It took over 30 minutes on the phone with Epson tech support (which was very helpful) -- their model for connecting is really non-intuitive
    • The tech support person finally admitted that the button scan only works over USB, not WiFi -- by design
    • This scanner is fast & has great features if you can get it to work with your Wi-Fi; Was unable to connect to a Wi-Fi, even with considerable assistance from Epson Tech Support
    • I'm hoping tech support can figure something out to help me

    • Even with some very knowledgable network engineers involved and with Epson tech support on the phone for hours, we were unable to get the scanner to work via WiFi
    • I spoke to tech support, they offered no solution nor do they see this as a problem
    • Epson shipped another replacement unit & same problem occurred after spending 3 hours on the phone with Epson Tech Support, finally decided it is not worth it and sent is back
    • Once again, I took to the internet to seek a solution, but, being unable to find one, I braved the time-consuming call to the Sri Lankan call center so as to be able to waste another hour with tech support, only for them to again tell me that they couldn't fix it, so I was, once again, out of luck
    • Plug and play, easy to use interface for flipping pages.*I have not used tech support so cannot accurately rate
    • I got to waste the usual 20 minutes or so talking with a call center operative who barely spoke English and simply read off standard questions from the website's FAQs before she finally let me talk to a tech support person
