Text is very sharp, colors are very good

I do think Epson printers give the best color results of all brands, but I'm still leery of ink printers

Having an option to default at printer level to B&W (and make color a conscious choice) would be very useful but this option does not exist

The printing is beautiful - colors are vivid and documents are clear and perfect.

Color is rich and vibrant, and it can do photos better than a color laser, but it won't replace a photo printer.

I l love that the 4740 has two paper trays.
