No solution worked (clean print head etc.)

I fixed that by running the utility that automatically cleans the print heads.

However, within 6 months the ink appeared to always be smudged and of poor quality regardless of how many times I cleaned the print heads.

Print comes out light and faded after numerous times trying to adjust and clean print heads

I often use the scan to e-mail which worked perfect with my gmail account.
