This printer has a problem almost every time I use it: poor printing quality that necessitates printer head cleaning and document reprinting (almost every time!), insistence on duplex printing despite changing the settings, lost connections to Mac devices, and on and on.

OMG, it jams every time I turn around, Usually when I'm in a hurry.

In the 3 months I have used this printer, I have had to call Tech Support at Epson 3 times.

Any time I print a jpg picture, I have to assure the printer that I want to use the letter size paper that is in the tray

It seems like every time I look at it, it wants to do a firmware update

And I love the fact that I can have one tray of regular paper and one tray for envelopes (I had a really hard time finding a printer that would conveniently handle envelopes!).

Took a little more time than expected and some help from technical support, but it works fine and very happy with the print quality.

I don't have that kind of time to waste multiple times per day.

This is where I had the envelopes so the first time that happened I ended up with all the envelopes that were in tray 1 being unusable

Add insult to injury, any time that there is less than 15-20 pages of paper in the printer, it will spit out many of them in the printing of just one page, and somehow it manages to print just a tiny bit of the printed page on all the bunched up pages

The scan feature in general is not good, the printer has a hard time finding my computer and this is the first printer I've had this problem with

Constant error reads - nearly every time I print.

I often use the scan to e-mail which worked perfect with my gmail account.
