I just did not like the feel of these and did not notice a tonal improvement.

The "slightly rough" feel I mentioned, or what someone else called "cat tongue feel" has really driven me nuts

What surprised me was the brittle, sharp feel of the strings

Second, they seem to have a "sharp" feel to them

The dobhave a nice feel and work great when adding a bit of vibrato, but they really only sound good when laying down an 80s type solo

I haven't had them long enough to vouch for their longevity but they sound great with nice overtones and excellent feel.

These strings have a snappier feel and a louder volume (amplified) than regular nickel / steel strings

I played my guitar in standard, and the output was amazing very bright and clear sound, but when I put my guitar back into drop B the strings lacked the low heavy sound I'm used to, and they sounded bright even though my guitar was in Drop B, but the strings are amazing great texture and great feel to them very comfortable to play with.

These strings have a great sound to them as all Ernie Ball strings do, but the feel of them is unbearable

Feel The cobalt strings have a stiffer feel to them than a normal super slinky string, it does not exactly take more pressure to bend a string, but it is most definitely a noticeable difference

Sadly I didn't get a chance to try them out on my amp, because the Hi-E broke (see

Oh, and I don't break the E (9's) string any more

The low E string broke as soon as I got it in tune

In the set I used before this, the low E was dull; it didn't match the sound or the output of the other strings
