Great set of strings, responsive with a great tone and easy to tune and hold their tune.

Fortunately I didn't like them anyway, and I quickly swapped them out with a good set of Elixers

On top of being a good set of 9s, so the great flexibility is still there.

These are a very bright set - you can hear the difference from a nickel set

These were my favorite set for drop C tuning

They have great sustain, feel silky smooth to the touch, and on a good set of stainless steel frets, they bend like nothing I've ever seen (while managing to stay in tune)

I wanted a skinnier set of top strings, and a heavier set of bottoms

I am glad I have a Schaller fully adjustable roller bridge as adjusting the intonation required some unusual settings for this skinny top, fat bottom set

EB's claim of a bright and powerful set of string for the most part is true

I have NEVER gotten a bad set of Ernie Ball strings.....ever

These really are a good set of strings.

I will come back and review them again when I have to change the strings again hopefully my next set isn't tarnished also.

The other stings were typical of other good sets

I got the heavy gauge cobalts, so not much to say for playability regarding the other sets

I've tried 3 sets of Cobalt strings and hate them

Everything you would expecting from a fresh set of strings

The best analogy I can think of for the feel is this: If you've ever run your finger along a really fine jeweller’s file, it feels like that

I am not a fan of these stings, I do not like how they are wrapped, they create too much drag on my fingers, they tarnish too fast (even when cleaning the strings after playing), and had the bottom E string unravel loose at the bridge and break while playing.

Oh, and I don't break the E (9's) string any more

The low E string broke as soon as I got it in tune

In the set I used before this, the low E was dull; it didn't match the sound or the output of the other strings
