Ernie Ball Cobalt Regular Slinky Set, .010-.046

    • slinky is the best
    • I love Super Slinky, but these couldn't make it 2 months.
    • The stings feel different they don't have that classic new slinky feel
    • Started using these a year ago after decades of using Ernie's Heavy Bottom-Light Top slinky's.
    • I was drawn to them due to the claim that the cobalt produces a louder sound compared to the "normal" super slinky strings
    • I have to say that I was sadly disappointed in the Super Slinky Cobalt strings by Ernie Ball
    • I grew up on Super Slinky strings, and figured I'd give Ernie Ball another try
    • Feel The cobalt strings have a stiffer feel to them than a normal super slinky string, it does not exactly take more pressure to bend a string, but it is most definitely a noticeable difference
    • They definitely stayed in tune better than the standard super slinky strings
    • I couldn't tell you exactly what separates them from the Super Slinky strings I usually use on my guitar, but they diffidently feel different, better than the strings that I used to use that also satisfied me.
    • I can't say that I really hear a big difference between them and the Super Slinky Nickel strings that I normally use.
    • Unfortunately there was no significant difference in the sound level of the new Super Slinky Cobalt string
    • The best EB Slinky's I've ever used
    • I think I will try these in the super slinky
    • First was the general feel of the strings which seemed to be smoother than others I had tried, including super slinky and rock and roll super slinky
    • The best analogy I can think of for the feel is this: If you've ever run your finger along a really fine jeweller’s file, it feels like that
    • You may not be as sensitive as I
    • Just too freakin' bright and sharp and treble-y
