The MVP pedal action is much tighter compared to the DeArmond and I prefer that because it makes fine control easier (no doubt decades of use have loosened up the DeArmond but even in its prime I remember wishing it were a little stiffer)

I've been using these types of pedals for years but this updated version with minimum volume and gain control is very nice. being able to change the pedal from a full mute to a damper pedal for volume is very useful and the overdrive gives that extra boost the signal needs
