If it wasn't so hard to get it flat I would have given it another star as it is very good quality.
It took a minute or two to unroll it with a person on each end, but after putting weights on it to hold it down - after a full day it is laying flat and the quality is so much better than what you'd get at your local store.

Besides being a real chore to get the thing unrolled, (it takes a hair dryer and a lot to time, like all day, in the sun to get it unrolled, because it is so stiff), I guess I'll just put up with it and tell everybody not to believe the baloney about this piece of lousy junk.

Despite being well - challenged by my weight (around 210#) and the weight of my oak office chair, the mat doesn't seem to "dent" badly at all on plush carpet with thick foam pad
The carpeting in my office is plush, with padding, and the the total thickness of the carpeting and pad is not quite 3/4", yet, after only about 5 minutes of sitting in one spot, the wheels sink into the mat to the point where it takes a bit of an effort to move around in my chair
I purchased this one because I had dense carpeting installed in my home office, and I hoped this mat, supposedly designed for thicker carpeting, would not constantly shift under my chair
