Does what it's supposed to to .... protect the carpet under my desk chair
Works well to to protect my carpet from my new office chair.
I would tape it down or use velcro, but I don't want to ruin the carpet
It is thin, has no grip whatsoever on my hard carpet floors, and has been heavily damaged from one day of use by a standard office chair - you know, the thing the product is intended to support
Chair slide easily and it does a great job of protecting the carpet

I was looking for something to slow down my chair wheels so chair would not constantly want to roll like a flash and dump me out as it went... and this is not that kind of pad.

Then the chair leaves even brighter marks on the already opaque mat
it came with a tear on one side and a mark thru like somebody drove over with studs
very bad product, the edges are now all curled up and it has horrible stress marks all over it.
It get horrible marks from the wheels...color and material cheap!

Like other reviews, my mat has curled but that would be tolerable if (Like other reviewers), it began to crack (like ice) about 2 months after purchase and now, pieces are coming out leaving holds in the main area under my chair.
I then bought a "throw rug" to try to keep the sides down, but the sides are curling so bad that I trip over them constantly and the chair slides off; need to get off chair and lift it back onto the mat.
This mat scuffed, curled, and has been more trouble than it's worth
No curling or other issues yet after a few days, so far so good.
No more fighting the curled up corners of the old broken and cracked one!
