PROS:+ Excellent detection range for radar/laser+ GPS technology ensures little to no false positives (eventually)+ Easy to use software for
-
Also features a USB port to charge my phone.-Ability to store and lockout false detections-Easy to read HD OLED display in both full sun and in the dark-Speed limit display once synced to Bluetooth-Carrying case (great if you plan on taking the radar down frequently)-Online firmware and software updatesThings that need some work:1.

The area where the new model will start to help is over time, where small software and hardware improvements can result in certain situations where it's got a little better detection
-
It is tough to say which consistently had the better detection/performance because the V1 would win some, the iX would win some and the Max 360 would win some.
-
, I found I really missed the improved detection of the 360
-
Excellent detection without all the false alerts.

A lot of what you read in reviews about radar detectors comes from people who, for some reason, need the most sensitive detection
-
Good detection, love the magnetic mount
-
They would show the graphs and sure enough, the V1 always stood out with the best performance and detection
-
Thus, I like using the detector as a stand alone.[---Detection---]As good as can be expected....for technologies other than laser
