Escort iX Long Range Radar Laser Detector

    • So many false laser signals ( about every 35-45 seconds).
    • I like that the new system remembers stationary signals and after 3 times can mute them out; convenient for your daily commute if you pass the same areas consistently.
    • First we did some experimenting with a couple of our other vehicles which emit radar to see if it would reject those signals.
    • It helps lock out annoying signals that occur when you drive by grocery stores or CVS.
    • You can set the mode to match the radar settings mostly commonly used in your area, and if there are a lot of false "K-band" alarms in your area you can set to "LowK" which will not omit the strength of police radars but will ignore weaker signals in that band from banks and other sources
    • There are lots of sophisticated options for choosing the type of meter you want, filtering out unnecessary signals, the color of the OLED screen and other options
    • because of all the false signals
    • The GPS is awesome where you can lockout those stationary signals and not be bothered with them
    • I do not get as many false alarms from electronic doors or other unnecessary signals.
    • Once you lock out fake signals during your normal routes, it is very accurate and has already paid for itself
    • That is why using different tones for the different types of radar (and laser) as well as voice signaling can be really helpful
    • Just as perfect as what I need.
    • It is a high quality detector that works as good or better than any of the competitors
