Device was defective out of box

That is not the purpose I bought those devices; and that is not the way those devices are supposed to work

the device does lower the volume more than I would like shortly after an alert triggers

I would recommend this device to anyone who drives 10+ over the speed limit

But this device is worth every penny for all ya'll speeders

I dont think you can go wrong even if you are pondering something a little cheaper, this is a good device.

That being said...maybe I just had a defective device

If you don't update the database, it is a great device.

Of course this is not the devices fault but merely how that technology works

Although I registered the device, I was unable to register it through a non-existent link for Escort Live Ready devices that the instructions indicate I need to register through

WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS ARE UNCLEAR, AND THE DEVICE IS CERTAINLY NON-INTUITIVE.
