I was thinking about keeping it for over the road, but honestly, the more I thought about it, the more I kept thinking, except during the off season, later in the evening I can't think of many highways where you won't have trucks modern cars

I've read a few reviews on here about issues if you live in a big city, but honestly, unless big to you is 10,000 people and no one in your town drives any modern cars with lane, collision, or any of the modern "detection" features, I have no idea what they are talking about

If you like fast cars and open

(traffic sensor rejection - off reduces delay on k band due to traffic flow sensors & adaptive car sensors) - Very chatty if left offRDR off (radar detector rejection - off removes delay to find false from leaky radar detector)

I think i just got a bad device: Escort claimed to be one of the best and ready to use out of the box, jet once tested on the road, it systematically failed to recognized any State Patrol Car posted on the Hwy as well any local Police car around cities including a Radar Gun pointed striaght to it from 40' as a friendly officer volunteered to test it

The Redline on Auto mode only goes off when the car is right by the doors.

I picked up Ka band considerably far before they did, whilst a good several car lengths behind them and moving at a high rate of speed

Also, it is never a bad idea to let someone else lead if there's another fast car out there.

On the other hand, there are some desolate stretches of highway in the southwestern desert where I think a person should be allowed to drive as fast as their car will go

but I bought redline b/c of it's supposed highway superiority.

It is fantastic in finding X band signals, and it doesn't ignore them as

Laser would work as long as you are behind someone and it hits someone else before you get hit to get you maybe a 1 or 2 secs to react and as long as you are not speeding at 90 Miles/hr ina 55 Miles/hr zone.
