I may have had a defective unit, it happens with any product
-
Unit clouded and is unusable once the cold weather hit and does not clear up in warmer dry weather.
-
So, either the units are bad or unable to transmit through the obstructions.
-
The wireless unit did work when bench tested so I will keep it for a future project
-
Would not work in my 06 Colorado, was told these wireless units are pretty susceptible to interference
-
Poor signal unit no output from sending unit.
-
That said this unit is well worth the money in order to not have to run wires in a large vehicle from the front to the back!
-
This unit caused massive static throughout my system, whether the radio/input was on or in standby, when connected
-
This unit is very easy to install.
-
However the unit failed to transmit anything
-
: The company contacted me because of the faulty wireless units and gave me a full refund
-
When I originally tested the device, I hooked it up under constant power for maybe 10-15 minutes and the units got warm quickly as other posters have mentioned.
