while these earplugs are awesome, and perfect for anyone just wanting the plugs to sit in the ear, without a cord, my preference is the model they sell which has the cord, which slides onto the back tips of the earplugs, and allows you to remove the plugs, and drop them to dangle around your neck

The removal tab can get hit by long hair, but the tab is removable and the earplugs are easy to get out if the string is attached.

I would suggest going with a softer, more accommodating earplug as there are dozens of alternatives

I like these earplugs because they come in a nice little pop keychain case that makes it very useful whenever loud sounds are present.

Similar to the blue-tipped ER20s, these earplugs are just so uncomfortable, especially after keeping them in at loud concerts for hours

I thought these would be an upgrade, but they're pretty much the same as the original, but the issue for me is that I like the smaller earplugs, ETYblu, with the small blue tip.

Used at a concert and my husband preferred another earplug that he had previously bought from this company.

It turns out (fortunately) that I was wrong, and that a passive earplug can achieve the same thing by being designed to allow all frequencies through in approximately equal proportions

I practice with a metal band three nights a week, and for a long time I was using cheap earplugs that I bought for doing yard work with noisy power equipment

Do note, they don't reject as much sound as traditional earplugs but they sound better

Concerts are instantly more enjoyable as you can clearly hear everything that is going on, as well as saving your hearing for the next day

I've used these in a gig situation now (with an extremely loud drummer!) as well as at an ACDC concert, and I'm surprised by the results
