I notice that the Genie doesn’t listen as well as the Echo Dot and the Genie’s responses are very slow in comparison

The good news is that the Eufy Genie works just as well as the Echo Dot, for the most part

Not as good as an echo not as fast as a tap can't drop in and a bit slower

Maybe not as good as the big Echo, but it fills the room with voice or music and that's good enough for me at this point

Perfect Alexa powered device to use in dusty, moist or harsh environments where you do not wish to risk a more expensive ECHO.

The sound quality does not seem to be any better or worse that the full Echo, but the max volume is another story

Its a little bigger then the echo dot and a little more hard of hearing, but it sounded ok and at half the price i was initially pleased.

But there are a few limitations (drop-in, calls, changing the wake word) that caused me to upgrade to a genuine Echo Dot

I am using the eufy in my bedroom and so far it performs as well as the echo.

Not by any means perfect, and hopefully, further updates will include standard Echo features like device-to-device communication and more seamless 3rd party app integration

With one exception, seems to work as well as a DOT but with "better" sound --- tho not as good sounding as the original Echo

Echo is very sensitive too, but in my experience the Eufy Genie was more sensitive

While I was unhappy with the Eufy Genie and I still recommend the Echo, this vendor conducts their business well
