    • This monitor hit the spot:Pros:-Screen size and resolution are fantastic, even in night vision mode-Battery life is more than adequate for our use-Build quality seems solid for most part [more on that below]-Range is fair and within expectations given the description-Audio quality, two way talk, and the build in melodies are great-Syncing a new monitor was easyCons:-Some type of battery 'fast charge' option would be great for those times we might forget to plug in when not in use-The mounting system can be improved
    • Original post (2 stars):I have had this for 16 months and although I did like it (the picture is great), it is now useless as you have to keep the baby monitor plugged in at all times because the monitor no longer holds a charge and will die 5 minutes after unplugging the cable.
    • The second monitor's battery wouldn't hold charge anymore after 6-7 months (would die after 5 min of being unplugged), & Eufy replaced that one as well
    • so I worry it would break easily.-Charger gets very hot if charging while you have the
    • We began to have issues with the monitor holding a charge just after the warranty had expired
    • After a few months we had some issues with our battery holding a charge and Eufy was so easy and responsive in responding to put warranty claim
    • My son started out with a different brand that would lose its charge during the night
    • use due to lack of consistent charge, will turn off all the time.
    • (perfect for the grandparents) but after less than 5 months the battery dies if not plugged in, it wont hold a charge
    • Ended up being a bad charging cable
    • After seeing how quickly they reached back out and their positive customer service, I would buy again, and also buy their other products.----------------------------Have been using for 5 months, worked well until 5 months in, now battery wont take charge and lost all the mobility we spent extra for
    • Battery keeps a good charge on the monitor
    • Cheap charging connection quality means that this thing is waking us up in the middle of the night constantly.
    • Is the loose charging point a known issue
    • Thanks Eufy!Edit 2: It has started to lose its charge now and the charging port is loose in the replacement unit
    • Both have broken and no longer charge the unit
    • However, the monitor battery worked well for about two months and then it started loosing charge rapidly to the
    • A short period of time after purchase, the monitor charger stops connecting to the monitor and makes charging almost impossible and extremely frustrating
    • It will drop for a 1/2 second and reconnect so its not an issue.3) Range of motion in the camera is exactly as they describe, its great and doesnt make any loud noises or anything to wake your baby (not like they can hear anything past the obnoxious blaring white noise machine anyway) :)I have not tried the additional wide angle lens yet as i have not had the need to; maybe when he is a toddler but cant comment on that so far.4
    • This is due to safety concerns, as well as not wanting to have connection issues during internet outages.-We didn't want to use our phones as the parent console, we preferred to have an actual handheld/separate monitor
    • I only use the monitor when it’s dark in my daughter’s room (naps or bedtime), and the video quality is not nearly as good as when the lights are on
    • Really disappointed as it seems to be a superior monitor
    • This baby monitor is as close to perfect as you will find on the market
    • Definitely a clear winner here compared to the Infant Optics baby monitor.- Sound - Works as you'd expect
    • This is disapointing as we can no longer monitor baby as we move from around the house.
