I thought it was PTFE and PFOA free, so I guess I'm smelling a different chemical

I really like this little waffle maker....especially since it is non-stick, made WITHOUT the toxic chemicals

Seems like if the company was serious about offering a product without toxic chemicals that leach into food, they would have already done this research

I read on another website that this waffle maker had a ceramic coating, thus making it free of the toxic nonstick chemicals used on many brands

However, waffles do not crisp up well as with other waffle makers I have used.

It's as easy to clean as can be expected.

Nice looking and works as it should, I just don't like how thin the waffle is
