The stainless steel pan is not as heavy duty as I expected, but since it will only used for poached eggs, this is not a problem.

I have not used the pan separately at this point, but suspect it will be very nice.

(I destroyed my last poacher by not adding enough water) the pan and cups are very easy to clean

And it's really awkward to remove it if you only poach three eggs as the center of gravity is off; (4) the eggs are not easy to remove from the cups; (5) I had washed everything and the cheap steel pan was left with pronounced white spots

Still, I love poached eggs, and this pan makes it very easy to poach eggs to any level of doneness you prefer, or mix eggs with herbs and spices to create an endless variety of inventions.

With a little common sense I realized that the pickup handles may be in (being in a cooking hot pan....again duh

Somewhat tricky to remove from the burning hot pan without burning yourself.

The pan rusted around handle and lid, and it's never been in dishwasher, always washed by hand.

Clean the pan with Barkeepers Friend which is a stainless steel cleaner using a Dobie Pad which is a sponge covered with a woven nylon and the combination cleans your stainless steel

The pan looks great and presents an attractive addition to my kitchen equipment.
