Might be nice to have wireless but was concerned about reliability and with having an attic it was easy to run the cables and only made a couple holes in the ceiling, and covered the wires running down the wall to Internet and hard drive with cable track for a nice look.

The cameras and hard drive record continuously and the timeline for each day contains little green ticks, barely visible, that tell you when any motion was detected so you can go right to that place and watch.

2nd hard drive went bad already, one with blacked out replay on one cam (not the cam) and one with noisy clicking hard drive locking up and erratic playback
