Setup was rough and measure to make sure cord will make it where it needs to plug in, although this was all expected since you’re saving money setting up yourself
The setup with the DVR and app on the phone was very easy and straight forward, I had no issues with it and there is no clarity issues either

The night camera works great but note that if there is another light on in the camera's view the light blinds the camera and you won't get a clear view.

I also hate the mouse with the short cord, but a cordless mouse will take care of that
One of the main issues I have is that it will not support a remote keyboard/mouse
A wireless mouse will solve the problem and let us review the footage from the comfort of the couch
The wired optical mouse that comes with it is fine if I was going to set this up on a desk with its own dedicated monitor, so bear that in mind if that's your intended setup
In order to get the QR code to use it with your cell phone you need to hook it up to an HDMI cable / monitor, then use the crappy mouse to type in a password and then hook it up to the internet.

Dudes, I know your pride is on the line, and your wife is watching you... but call tech support about your issues before writing bad product reviews.
I believe I was patient and straight forward in my description of the issue and just asked for the cameras to be replaced or upgraded, I also indicated that I had not posted any negative review of the product.
Also the review complaining about the App versus the Website not working... yea they were all wrong
I bought this system in spite of the bad reviews because it seemed like a good system for the price
