Only horrible people don't have fast internet connections and you should feel bad

Crashes seem to be caused by two things -- 1) slow/unstable Internet connection since Steam runs in parallel with the game; and 2) memory leaks (check Wikipedia to find out what a memory leak is)

I had a troubled internet connection, so my installation went very badly

I bought the game when it first came out and liked it a lot, but since I live in the sticks and have a shoddy internet connection the STEAM crap has me irritated beyond belief

So, I recommend buying it for a console rather than PC, if you're one of the many who can't afford internet
