Reviews around dlc (5.00 of 5)

  • Game was everything I had hoped it would be, I really enjoyed playing this game and even purchased all the DLC's as well.
  • the list goes on, plus you get all the DLC, which is renowned as the best DLC of the Fallout series (google if you don't believe me).Get the game.
  • I loved it best game ever created and the dlc are incredible this is a must buy game if you love RPG shooters i loved fallout 3 but this one was just better than it can get Buy it now!
  • This version does include all of the DLC available for New Vegas and that is a huge help for people just starting the game

Reviews around deal (4.16 of 5)

  • The new expansions add a great deal of new content and it sure is nice to be able to level past 30
  • I mean why on earth do i need steam when i supposedly have everything right here on disc? That right there lowers my opinion of the product a great deal.
  • I always hated piracy as it helped ruined good gaming companies and kept many good games from being made.
  • It's a great deal, I remember when it came out and the full price for all the DLC, if you haven't bought it yet, I suggest you get it now, it's a super bargain!
  • Aside from fighting and questing, there is a great deal of entertainment in the world, including shows/concerts you can attend and many mini games (which may be very lucrative if you learn to play them)

Reviews around addition (4.16 of 5)

  • My personal mods probably dropped the M to a solid T rating.
  • Weapon customization and down the sight aiming are fantastic additions because now this game can be played as a first person shooter instead of depending on VATS, but VATS provides strategic advantages
  • I liked the addition of reloading ammo as well as being able to breakdown ammo and consolidate it into something you need.
  • The game has lots to do and is definitely worthy addition to the Fallout series
  • This was a phenomenal addition to the Fallout lineup, with a HUGE amount of variation and directions the player can go.

Reviews around price (3.86 of 5)

  • On top of how much fun this game is, how many hundreds of hours can be put into it, the price is insane
  • works very well at a cheap price!
  • great game and price for all the whole game and dlc as well
  • All at a price well below the initial release plus add-on cost.
  • Delivers hours of entertainment at an even better price, simple as that.

Reviews around reason (3.86 of 5)

  • I always hated piracy as it helped ruined good gaming companies and kept many good games from being made.
  • Even if you have played the game before, this is a good reason to revisit it
  • Well the reason I hadn't purchased FO:NV before recently was so that I could wait for an edition that included all of the DLC's, this one does, it's also one of tthe most updated versions, meaning fewer in game bugs (the Fallout series has been plagued by bugs and glithes since the original.. and Fallout 2 is one big cluster-bomb of dead end quests etc because the developers never actually finished a LOT of the content.
  • There's no real black and white with any of the groups though, its just good people who do bad things or bad people who do things for what they think are good reasons, etc
  • Now that the price has come down on this, if you like RPGs at all, or if you like FPSs, there's no reason not to buy this

Reviews around way (3.61 of 5)

  • It works well as a way to get extra cash, but don't get too good -- or else people won't want to play with you (just like real life). The game is very open-ended in terms of how long you take to finish the main quest and there are technically multiple endings
  • Either way its worth it for every person who likes an in-depth RPG or just a light shooter with RPG elements that will give you hundreds of hours throughout the experience.~ Vaultnishi
  • I always hated piracy as it helped ruined good gaming companies and kept many good games from being made.
  • I like the way you can side with different factions in the war over the Hoover Dam, such as siding with the NCR or Caesar's legion, but unlike more recent Bethesda games, you can't actually join these groups
  • , I was lucky enough to be able to creatively turn the drilling device/cajole/coerce my way into funding for an Alienware laptop a few years back, and decided to give my system a good run with a Bethesda game for once (despite being a HUGE computer gamer, I've never played any of the more recent Elder Scrolls games, and neither of the newer Fallout games on the comp) and as of my initial arrival at The Strip have only encountered two slight glitches, in both cases slaughtered foe-men appearing slightly off the ground with the arms outstretched in a rather hilariously ironic imitation of crucifixion.

Reviews around mod (3.61 of 5)

  • I recommend some mods and use the pcgamingwiki.com to tweak the game.
  • Personally, I would recommend just continuing with FO3 (download some mods from Nexus or something) until Bethesda finds a better solution than Steam and continuous online monitoring of your gameplay.
  • If you are like me, and don't enjoy gore in video games (I don't need a game to be "realistic" in that way, it just grosses me out), there are mods which remove the majority of the gore
  • The one perk per level mod is really good with this game
  • so i could try a run through with some mod's (Sawyer's mod to ramp up the difficulty, a Radio Active Channel or Radio Free Wasteland mod for alot more period appropriate music, Nevada Skies mod for weather, etc...

Reviews around weapon (3.37 of 5)

  • I would of liked it better if the whole graphics were done more realistic and the weapons were better .
  • Interesting new weapons, better dialogue, good overall plot arc
  • Boone, being a sniper, gives you a Spotter perk which makes determining effective weapon range when trying to snipe foes from afar really easy and fun, etc
  • You can limited craft weapons and you have different ammo types
  • The weapons are not as exciting... the whole package just seems a few notches below what was put out with Fallout 3.

Reviews around graphic (3.09 of 5)

  • The game has an excellent story line, is non-liner, dozens of side quests, multiple endings, you choose to be either good, evil or something in between (neutral) around a dozen or so weapons, hundreds or NPC's and dozens upon dozens of characters you can talk too, beautiful locations, beautiful graphics, and the locations number at least 100, I would say, this game is massive, and at least 100 side quests and main story quests combined as well
  • The graphics, which were excellent two years ago, are still very good - but they are no longer cutting edge
  • The graphics are not terrible, not exactly cutting edge either, they worked for me
  • It uses steam and the pc version has excellent graphics
  • The game is a lot of fun, the story is very engaging and the graphics aren't as bad as some people say

  • Having extensivlty played fallout 3 for a while, i decided to get this ultimate edition
  • i really like this game.....not as much as fallout 3 but still enjoyed playing this game
  • This is a game that gave me many, many hours of enjoyable play
  • Well, I've played Fallout 3 like five times from start to finish, so I was ready for some new scenery

  • My personal mods probably dropped the M to a solid T rating.
  • Only horrible people don't have fast internet connections and you should feel bad
  • So, I recommend buying it for a console rather than PC, if you're one of the many who can't afford internet
  • I had a troubled internet connection, so my installation went very badly

Reviews around installation (2.28 of 5)

  • I always hated piracy as it helped ruined good gaming companies and kept many good games from being made.
  • Installation was a major pain for my old PC, it constantly crashes and the gameplay is very difficult even if you have it set to its easiest setting
  • After proper installation of the game, I added a few mods and started playing
  • My personal mods probably dropped the M to a solid T rating.

Reviews around steam (1.58 of 5)

  • after many failed attempts to connect to one of their servers).I don't even know where to begin, but Steam is very confusing, offers nothing for me, does nothing for me either except it downloaded 7.7GB of Fallout::New Vegas Ultimate Edition, which took well over a day of my time and should have been on the CD I bought in the first place (I also have Cricket Broadbandwhich only gives me 5.0GB of data per month, after that is runs notoriously slow though you can still browsethe internet and attempt to load videos
  • a brand new, never used game or big bad Steam won't let us play
  • My personal mods probably dropped the M to a solid T rating.
  • steam, me and my dad both love this
  • download stuff).I don't play multiplayer nor download most games online, and this is one reason why Steam for me is a nightmare, not to mention it is very confusing for most people (keep in mind I know basic HTML, have usedWindows since Windows 95 and MS DOS and used to create levels for Doom and Duke Nukem 3D back inthe day plus

Reviews around crash (1.35 of 5)

  • I am experiencing some problems though and that is there are some random annoying crashes with this game even when it is fully patched.
  • Don't think I had a single crash or glitch in the matrix as I played
  • I always hated piracy as it helped ruined good gaming companies and kept many good games from being made.
  • The Willow companion mod looks like it causes crashes
  • The game has technical problems - the once in a while crash, as well as critters getting stuck in rocks and poor enemy AI

Reviews around memory leak (1.00 of 5)

  • Generally, the more RAM you have, the less you will suffer from memory leaks (not only in FONV but in any software)
  • I suppose there is a memory leak somewhere and every 8 hours or so it may be a good idea to save/exit and reboot your PC;4
  • Crashes seem to be caused by two things -- 1) slow/unstable Internet connection since Steam runs in parallel with the game; and 2) memory leaks (check Wikipedia to find out what a memory leak is)
  • I always hated piracy as it helped ruined good gaming companies and kept many good games from being made.
  • Added comment on memory leak induced crashes (see CONS for details/fix)******************************************************************************************************NOTE: This review is for Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition (PC), not any other version of this game.******************************************************************************************************Content:I. Reviews around copy (1.00 of 5)

  • If I'd known that the hard copy was no different from the download, I'd've just bought the download
  • Bought the game on hard copy only because I was tired of a add on killing the
  • Before I get too far into what will no doubt be an entirely pretentious and unflinchingly adulatory assessment of Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition for the PC (via hard copy activated w/ Steam
  • so I thought I could just buy a hard copy and NOT register it with Steam
