I was hesitant to take off my otterbox case because I had recently broken my previous phone

With this battery your phone will just be very thick as well...and fairly heavy

I use my S4 non stop and this battery is fantastic and a must get for anyone who doesn't put their phone down like me.

Ok, I'm not saying that razor-thin phones are a lesser breed, but somewhere along the line, manufacturers started building beautiful-looking phones that wouldn't last through a day of regular use.

The lifetime of this battery's charge is longer than the stock battery, however it is not enough to warrant the weight that it adds (the phone feels like its five pounds)

My phone feels fine and safe in the case, which is just the right mix of rigid and flexible to absorb the shock of an accidental drop.

It does a nice job of protecting the phone as well as the back cover wraps around the front of the phone a little bit to keep the issue of drops on the corner from breaking the front display

The case is a nice heavy duty rubber that hugs the phone nicely with all the proper cut outs and the inside is molded to the size of the bigger battery

I had my phone for at least a year an the battery degraded to a point that makes this phone somewhat unusable

I've added a proven glass screen protector and with the combo of the two the phone has not received any damage with numerous accidental drops, even regardless of the extra weight that it now carries
