Every time there was a loading screen, the adapter would lose connection with the TV.

However with both the original and the replacement unit, the major problem appeared to be a loose connection between my Nyko AC adapter and the FastSnail adapter

This little adapter works perfectly for hooking the Nintendo Switch into hotel TVs when traveling.

Added bonus it also works with my Dell XPS 13 9350 as an hdmi adapter and can even charge the laptop through the usb c port with a 45w usb c power brick.

I recommend this adapter if you want to stop using the dock.

The only thing that bothers me is that the adapter is not more flexible and that it requires the exact voltage of the original switch adapter.
