A little inconvenient that I can't play this without power, but the device works as intended.
Simple and to the point, the adapter does exactly what it's supposed to, works as intended and is very portable

Not sure what people are complaining about it works exactly as intended and you only seem to have issues if you do not know how to read
So this is a great little usb-c to hdmi dock, just not for the switch
Worked as described, very convenient when traveling, I would recommend product if traveling with Switch
It works just as described for my Switch (+ my MacBook).In terms of it not fitting the usb-c port of the Switch, as some people described, I didn’t really feel like I had to force it in or anything (just a slight gentle push was all I needed).

(Updated)The USB-C plug was too large to fit into my switch correctly, the company replaced it immediately with one that was made correctly and it works as described
The first product I received had a flaky connection, but FastSnail offered a free replacement and it's working great!

This second one works great so far, and I have tested it on many occasions now
This works really well, not only for Nintendo Switch but also for my Samsung Galaxy phone
The audio works fine when using the Switch (Nintendo) dock.
Works great with my Switch, plugging into the USB-C port on the device with my Nintendo USB-C cable works fine with passing charging through to my switch
Although the unit worked when received, I am now also experiencing several issues that have been reported in some of the Amazon.com reviews of the product, a week later
In addition, when I am in the docked mode, My Switch is actually losing battery instead of charging it in some games
So in tv mode the battery will still drain and will probably only last me about 2 hours

I recommend (same as other users) to use the original Nintendo charger for better battery life
It works okay but still drains battery even using the Nintendo AC adapter.
This Type C to HDMI adapter worked as advertised and was delivered promptly
I have only tested it a short time, but it appears to be working although I have found that if I have more than 2 controllers connected they appear to lose connection quite quickly
So this is a great little usb-c to hdmi dock, just not for the switch
All connections for USB-C and HDMI (both input for power and the Switch connection and output to HDMI) are solid and tight
However with both the original and the replacement unit, the major problem appeared to be a loose connection between my Nyko AC adapter and the FastSnail adapter

The original dock is too bulky, does not dissipate heat properly, and can scratch your screen
As soon as I plugged the adapter into the Switch, my screen started flickering on and off

It dosent scratch your system, also WORKS WITH 5.0 UPDATE
Nobody should ever buy this, It will eventually break your system, so as it doesn’t work anymore we all should ask for a refund

Docked mode does work with weak chargers, but it won't charge and will probably damage your system.
I even purchased and used the matching FastSnail AC [ Product: FastSnail AC Adapter for Nintendo Switch, Support TV Mode (5 FT/1.5M) ], and still didn't it to work smoothly
FastSnail was very apologetic and issued me a refund, which I appreciate
But the company did issue me a refund for the item and an update to my review.
After speaking with FastSnail customer service I am updating my review as they were very sympathetic and were able to issue a refund
