Not sure what people are complaining about it works exactly as intended and you only seem to have issues if you do not know how to read
Simple and to the point, the adapter does exactly what it's supposed to, works as intended and is very portable
A little inconvenient that I can't play this without power, but the device works as intended.
(Updated)The USB-C plug was too large to fit into my switch correctly, the company replaced it immediately with one that was made correctly and it works as described
Worked as described, very convenient when traveling, I would recommend product if traveling with Switch
It works just as described for my Switch (+ my MacBook).In terms of it not fitting the usb-c port of the Switch, as some people described, I didn’t really feel like I had to force it in or anything (just a slight gentle push was all I needed).

Although the unit worked when received, I am now also experiencing several issues that have been reported in some of the Amazon.com reviews of the product, a week later
They've replaced the defective unit and the new one works like it should so far
Works great with my Switch, plugging into the USB-C port on the device with my Nintendo USB-C cable works fine with passing charging through to my switch
I'm going to try to re-order, since Amazon wouldn't let me just return this item for another unit, and if the second one works I'll revise my review, but for now it's just disappointing
The audio works fine when using the Switch (Nintendo) dock.
In addition, when I am in the docked mode, My Switch is actually losing battery instead of charging it in some games
So in tv mode the battery will still drain and will probably only last me about 2 hours

I have only tested it a short time, but it appears to be working although I have found that if I have more than 2 controllers connected they appear to lose connection quite quickly

If you've had your Nintendo switch since launch, chances are you know that putting the console in the dock will scratch the screen, overheat the console easily, and even warp it if it gets too hot

Nobody should ever buy this, It will eventually break your system, so as it doesn’t work anymore we all should ask for a refund
It dosent scratch your system, also WORKS WITH 5.0 UPDATE
Docked mode does work with weak chargers, but it won't charge and will probably damage your system.
I even purchased and used the matching FastSnail AC [ Product: FastSnail AC Adapter for Nintendo Switch, Support TV Mode (5 FT/1.5M) ], and still didn't it to work smoothly

I got an e-mail from the seller saying they're being smeared with bad reviews from a competitor
I see a few other reviews noting the product failed after some time.
This is an amazing product and I’m really not sure why there’s some bad reviews
After speaking with FastSnail customer service I am updating my review as they were very sympathetic and were able to issue a refund
FastSnail was very apologetic and issued me a refund, which I appreciate
But the company did issue me a refund for the item and an update to my review.
