For some reason It doesn't with with the (ravpower smart + charger) but I need a new USB-C to C cord to confirm this

Another note: you have to make sure to have the right USB-C charger to give it enough power

I have tried the original cable, galaxy book chargers/cables, other cables, and even with a portable charger

However, you will need a powerful charger (Nintendo Switch charger for example), otherwise you won't be able to play and charge.

I first used my samsung fast charger with it

Make sure you have a fast charger to attach to it or it will charge too slow and you want have a good charge when you’re ready to detach it and take your game to go.

Must the USB charger to get s8 mirroring to work for some reason, couldn't get it working with s8 or any other charger.

but I blame the cheap USB wall charger I bought with it and have recently changed it with a quick charge USB wall charger to fix the problem

Note that one requirement not listed in the original documentation is that the USB-C power requirements are fairly specific as several other chargers (that are compatible with the switch itself) were NOT compatible with the adapter

Since I have fast chargers in all my travel gear, I always have something that can handle the power, so this thing works for me.

Docked mode does work with weak chargers, but it won't charge and will probably damage your system.

This Type C to HDMI adapter worked as advertised and was delivered promptly

Works great with my Switch, plugging into the USB-C port on the device with my Nintendo USB-C cable works fine with passing charging through to my switch

Got it yesterday, looks identical to my Apple USB-C adapter (which unfortunately doesn't support the switch)

So this is a great little usb-c to hdmi dock, just not for the switch

Works as it says with no issues
